In 2005 we were given the distinct privilege of rebranding Good Scents from business cards to web site. After the business cards were hot off the press, our next big challenge was the Good Scents product catalog. Having taken photos of hundreds of products, including Good Scents' own line of essential oils and bath & body products, we were able to move quickly to the design of the 16 page catalog. While progress on the catalog was being made, the web site was taking shape.
For all portions of the Good Scents project we used the brick and mortar store front as constant inspiration. A small space with loads of character, the converted red fire station with delicately and purposefully placed products was the obvious jumping-off point. After some Cape Cod touches of subtle wainscoating (web site) and ocean blues and greens (buiness cards, catalog, web site), Good Scents had a campaign it was eager to show off.
Good Scents had such a wonderful reponse to its 2005 catalog, they asked us to design the 2006 catalog as well.
